Just a quick blog post to ask if you are favor of Willie Revillame resign or not to resign on Wowowee.

Here is the issue:

Willie Revillame said a while ago on his noontime show Wowowee, threatened the ABS-CBN to kick out Jobert Sucaldito a showbiz commentator from the buzz and other showbiz realated shows and radio stations from ABS-CBN. Willie will resign if they will not fired Jobert from the network.

This happen because, According to Willie, he heard Jobert on the DZMM program commenting or let’s say attacking his noontime show Wowowee especially the Willie of Fortune which there are high school students as contestants through that segment and they graduated with an general average of 75-79 and Jobert was questioning why Wowowee had to feature contestants who are dumb or “bobo”……

The presidential candidate was delighted to hear about Baby James uttering his name in Noynoy’s campaign in Bacolod. “Ikinararangal ko na kapag nakikita kong nagugustuhan ako ng mga bata. Dahil ang mga bata honest,” Villar said.

The richest senator of the country made this statement after the 2-year-old son of Kris Aquino, youngest sister of Liberal Party standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, shouted Villar’s name during Aquino’s campaign sortie in Bacolod on March 29.

“Ambulansyang de Paa” episode of I-Witness documentary that showed how a mountain community worked as a team to transport the seriously ill through rugged mountain trails, is one of the 36 recipients of prestigious Peabody Awards this year.  Was aired in March 2009, Ambulancia de Paa was hosted by Kara David and directed by Nowell Cuanang.

Peabody website stated that this year’s recipients represent the best in electronic media for 2009, including primetime series; made-for-TV scripted dramas; documentaries; news reports submitted from local television stations as well as from the major networks; radio dramas, news coverage and documentaries; and websites.

Kapuso Network was the first Philippine broadcaster to receive the prestigious Peabody Award for Investigative Reporting. In 1999, Kidneys for Sale  by Jessica Soho (first) and her I-Witness documentary team and Jay Taruc’s Child Labor story on Brigada Siyete (second) brought home the country’s first and second Peabody trophies.

Philippine’s one and only superstar garnered the most number of votes in the category of 10 Best Asian Actresses of the Decade of the 2010 Green Planet Awards. Ate guy was selected by movie viewers and online voters from more than 100 countries.

She accepted the prize in behalf of the other 9 Asian actresses who made it on the list including Zhang Ziyi (China), Gong Li (China), Maggie Cheung (China), Nae Yuki (Japan), Angelica Lee (China), Hye-Soo Kim (Korea), Yaqing Jin (China), Yoon-jin Kim (Korea), and Rinko Kikuchi (Japan)

“In the past years, I was not as active in the movies as I had been in the previous decades. This recognition must also be your appreciation of my lifework in the field of cinema,” Superstar said during her acceptance speech.

She hoped the recognition would “bring further world attention to Philippine cinema.”, ate guy added.

“Moreover, I am happy that this award could bring a lot of joy to the movie lovers all over the world who voted for me, especially to my fans who believe in my talent and love me unconditionally. I couldn’t thank them enough for standing by me through all these years,” she added.

This Awards recognize Hollywood’s and Asia’s finest films, actors and filmmakers while raising awareness about the environment at the same time.

Being targetted of harsh comments, Kris disclosed that she even contemplated of leaving entertainment talk show “The Buzz.”

Kris, who always been a subject of scrutiny in her personal life and is said to be a liability to her brother’s candidacy (Noynoy Aquino), said she consulted her 3 female sisters - Ballsy, Viel and  Pinky about her plan since it is a “family decision.” She said she excluded her brother because he is not used to the world of show business.

The issue was magnified after the rival program, “Showbiz Central” aired a phone patch interview to Ruffa’s mom, Annabelle Rama, expressing her disgust on Kris Aquino.

The Queen of All Media did not answer the strong statements issued by Annabelle Rama on her show but instead sent a text message to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) expressing her deepest apology to Ruffa.

Ruffa Gutierrez finally allowed the press to interview her two days after the much talked-about incident. In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Ruffa said she appreciated and accepted Aquino’s public apology. “Ako naman, I’m a very fun-loving individual and kaibigan ko din naman si Kris. And I have the highest respect for her.”
