The “Baby James for Villar” incident is taking political campaigns to a new level. After the much talked-about incident during Noynoy Aquino campaign last April 5 in Bacolod when Kris Aquino’s son, Baby James, shouted “Villar”, a photoshopped picture of Baby James holding a paper with “I Love Villar” written on it is now circulating on the internet.

Nacionalista Party (NP) Presidential candidate Manny Villar told press that he is honored to know many children supported him. This includes Baby James, the son of James Yap and Kris Aquino - who is sister of his number 1 presidential opponent Noynoy Aquino.
The presidential candidate was delighted to hear about Baby James uttering his name in Noynoy’s campaign in Bacolod. “Ikinararangal ko na kapag nakikita kong nagugustuhan ako ng mga bata. Dahil ang mga bata honest,” Villar said.
Marian Rivera, the Primetime Queen will be honored today by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as one of Mandaluyong City’s Top 10 Taxpayers in the individual category.
This is a part of its week-long celebration of Mandaluyong City 65th Liberation Day. They will also honor its six “Ulirang Mandalenyo (Exemplary Mandaluyong residents),” in the fields of governance, business, education, arts and culture, sports, and journalism.

Here’s what Section 6.6 of COMELEC’s Fair Election Act states:
“Any mass media columnist, commentator, announcer, reporter, on-air correspondent or personality who is a candidate for any elective public office or is a campaign volunteer for or employed or retained in any capacity by any candidate or political party shall be deemed resigned, if so required by their employer, or shall take a leave of absence from his/her work as such during the campaign period.”

Wowowee host Willie Revillame on Tuesday apologized on ABS-CBN’s noontime show Wowowee after he drew criticisms for ordering the removal of the live streaming of former President Corazon Aquino’s funeral procession from his show.
Willie had asked the removal of the live stream showing Cory’s cortege from La Salle Green Hills to Manila Cathedral, which was being aired simultaneously with his noontime show Wowowee.

Freddie Aguilar has no plans of issuing an apology for his comment to Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda of Journey. The comment is what foreigners had said about Filipinos, being likened to monkeys because they would only mimic the styles and songs of other international artists.
“Bakit ako mag-a-apologize? I am speaking out the truth so why do I have to apologize? It’s my opinion and I am entitled to one. I am fighting for the truth,” Freddie reportedly said.

FHM Philippines revealed the top 10 for the 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2009. The poll is topped by no other than kapuso star Cristine Reyes.
Top by 382,819 votes, Cristine Reyes is FHM’s sexiest this year. Marian Rivera, received the second highest number with 282,300 votes followed by Angel Locsin with 266,233 votes.

The King of Pop Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to media reports in Los Angeles.
He was rushed to the hospital (UCLA Medical Center) where he was pronounced dead. Jackson had been busy rehearsing for a high-stakes comeback tour, set to start within weeks in England (London), with dozens of dates scheduled and tickets sold out quickly.
